Jo Wilson - Chief Executive

I have two daughters, Melissa and Cecilia ("Cissy"). After being diagnosed when I was 20 weeks pregnant, Cissy was born in 1999 with complex congenital heart disease. The shock of the diagnosis and the stress of seeing Cissy go through open-heart surgery has never left me, and I became involved with ECHO in 2000, wishing to get to know other parents, and help families through their times of distress and worry.

ECHO is a huge and important part of the lives of everyone in our family, and I count myself fortunate to have met so many wonderful new, caring friends over the years. I now work, part-time, for ECHO and look foward to taking ECHO into a very successful future, where more and more families are supported in an even better way.

Jessica Cattermole - Deputy Director

I joined ECHO in December 2002, a few days after my daughter Isabel was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries.

During our stay in hospital I met members from ECHO, who were able to tell me of their own experience under similar circumstances and help me immensely. I have since received a huge amount of support and made many friends through ECHO.

I am very proud to work for ECHO as Deputy Director. I am also Area Contact for Sussex, a role that I share with Rosie Wheldal.

If you need any information on upcoming events, would like to organise a coffee morning or have any fundraising ideas, would like to meet other members, buy ECHO merchandise or just want a chat, then please give me a call or drop me an email. I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday but if you leave a message I will get back to you as soon as possible.
