Accommodation for parents
When a child is admitted to the Evelina Children’s Hospital, parents/carers are offered accommodation. There are pull-down beds (for one parent) by the side of the child’s bed on all wards except PICU (where there is separate accommodation on the same floor). Ronald McDonald House also offers excellent, free residential facilities, very close to the Guy’s Hospital campus, and parents are permitted to use the free staff shuttle bus which operates regularly between the two sites.
